Project Bookmark

In 2020, Project Bookmark began as an offshoot of a project spearheaded by our older sister who donated school supply boxes and essential items throughout the community and region each year- our first step toward creating meaningful change. Over the years we embraced new challenges, and experienced the extraordinary impact young people can make when they come together with passion and purpose. Our mission at Project Bookmark is to help children around the globe experience the wonder of reading and to help provide the tools and essential resources they need to nourish their bodies and minds. Join us in our cause in making the world a little better, by one random act of kindness at a time.

We Offer Free Tutoring

Math, Science, English, and History (Grades K-8)
Up to 1 Hour Free/Per Week

School Supplies and Book Drive

Project Bookmark collects new school supplies and new or gently used books to help at-risk students start—and continue—the school year prepared and confident. We partner with local schools and community organizations to distribute donations where they’re needed most.
Most-Needed Items Include: New backpacks, notebooks, folders, binders, pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters, crayons/markers/colored pencils, calculators (basic/scientific), rulers, glue sticks, scissors and children’s, middle-grade, and young adult books (new or gently used)

World Central Kitchen

We are very excited to support World Central Kitchen (WCK) and their mission. WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to global humanitarian, climate, and community crises. When disaster strikes, WCK's Relief Team mobilizes to the frontlines with immediate urgency to start cooking and provide meals to people in need.

Save The Children

We advocate for children's rights and are proud to support Save the Children. They have been supporting children for over 100 years and they won't stop now. Save the Children saves lives and is cost effective. 84% of every dollar donated goes straight to their mission. Around the world, they provide newborn health services, malnutrition screening and treatment, and help prevent disease. When disasters strike, Save the Children responds to the unique needs of children to ensure their survival. They have a long-standing partnership with the U.S. Government, which includes actively working with several administrations to receive bipartisan support to ensure that children are given the best start in life. With your support, they can continue their work to keep children in the U.S. and around the world healthy, educated and safe.

You can purchase and deliver food, books, educational supplies, essential medical supplies, and sports equipment directly to the organizations we support or we can arrange for pick up and delivery.
